We do the liftingWells's medieval centre and its conservation streets are exactly where a skip is most trouble: a highway permit if it sits on the road, days of it parked outside, and every bag carried out by you. We bring the Luton van to the door, load everything ourselves, and it's gone the same visit. On the villages' single-track lanes the case is even stronger — a skip lorry often can't make the drop at all.
Sofas and suites, mattresses and beds, wardrobes and flat-pack, fridges, freezers and washing machines, garden waste, shed and garage contents, and the general clutter that builds up in lofts and spare rooms. Clearance is priced by how much of the van you fill — like skip sizes, but with no VAT and all the loading included, typically from around £150 upward. Single bulky items are priced individually: single bed £80, armchair £84, sofa £95, fridge or double bed £120. You get a clear figure on arrival before we lift anything, and once you're happy we crack on.
Bigger clear-outs — a garage that hasn't been opened in years, a loft full of a family's history, a rental between tenants — are steady work across Wells. We work room by room, set aside anything you want kept or donated, and leave the space swept and usable. For landlords and agents we'll provide a waste transfer note for the file.
We're a registered upper-tier waste carrier (licence CBDU445737) — you can check it on the Environment Agency's public register. Everything goes through licensed transfer and recycling routes, we re-use and donate what we sensibly can, and we never fly-tip.
